BXVI Choir 2024
This time we’re up for the week after the 2nd Sunday after Easter!
Every day is a feria, so Father has picked a different votive Mass for every day, opening up a veritable cornucopia of music.
- Monday: Votive Mass of the Holy Ghost
- Tuesday: St Bernadette - Virgin, not a martyr
- Wednesday: Votive Mass of St Joseph
- Thursday: Votive Mass of the Blessed Sacrament
- Friday: Votive Mass of the Sacred Heart
Each day we will sing Mass 1 (Missa Lux et Origo)
Each evening we have Compline according to the Roman 1962 rite.
It does make for a lot of music, so here’s a challenge. I’ve split them up into 8 groups of 5:
- Ordinaries: Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus, Agnus Dei, Ite Missa Est
- Compline: Deus in Adjutorium, Alleluia, Te Lucis, In Manus Tuas, Salva Nos
- Extras: Regina Caeli, Ave Verum, Anima Christi, Ave Maris Stella, Adoro Te
- Then each day Mon-Fri: Introit, two Alleluias, Offertory, Communion
