Lectio Septima

Summary: After many wars, the Romans still had no peace. In 390 B.C. the Gauls invaded Italy. They conquered many peoples and even defeated a Roman army. They entered Rome, and captured all but the Capitoline. There the geese awakened the sleeping Romans.
